FEUERGEIST KENNEL

Feuergeist is a relatively new kennel (2020) involved in the sport of IGP (Schutzhund) which is a 3 phase sport including tracking, obedience and protection as well as some performance sports like dock diving. My goal is to produce healthy, versatile working Belgian Malinois with good structure and sound minds. I strive for confident, well balanced dogs with intense drives and workability with a natural desire to be with and please their handlers.

I take pride in the effort I put in to bettering the breed. Health testing and titling is top on the priority list.

All of my breeding stock have their OFA certifications as well as being tested for genetic diseases through Embark.

My dogs are titled in a variety of venues but IGP (Schutzhund) is my main focus and what I dedicate most if not all of my time to.

I have been a standing member of the Canadian Kennel Club and GSSCC for a few years now.

​

It is also important for me to keep my dogs in peak physical condition and that starts with a healthy diet. All of my dogs are on a balanced raw diet and get daily supplements. Aside from IGP training, the dogs are also worked daily doing a variety of age appropriate exercises and activities such as hiking,  swimming, fitness, etc.
